Year 5 is brimming with adventures and exciting learning within its themes of Land of the Free and Beliefs. Developing independence and resilience is key to success in learning and we organise lots of activities to give you opportunities to explore and improve your learning behaviours.
September - Settle in and get yourself up to speed with the pace and drive of lessons.
Can you name and locate all 50 states in the U.S? You will by the end of the month.
Journey with us into Space for our Science, Music, French and Art.
October - Learn all about Native Americans through our History exploration and delve into the fabulous 'Wolf Brother' to deepen your understanding.
Kestrels start their visits to St Swithuns for some hands on Science in a real laboratory.
November - Thanksgiving is just around the corner. Don't forget your cutlery for our 'feast' on Thursday 22nd.
December - It's D.T time and we're baking in the new kitchen, designing Christmas cakes.
